Sample: rat muscle

Sample feature: large number of sample types, used to grind with homogenizer, however homogenizer has risk of cross contamination and inconvenience in cleaning.

Experiment objective: disrupt bacterial infected muscle structure, release internal bacterial within muscle fibers. Identify bacterial development. Compare usage experience against homogenizer.

 

Ø  Experiment course:

The lab in Sichuan University used to treat the samples with manual mortar and homogenizer to disrupt sample, however, they encounter issues in cleaning, low throughput, incomplete disrupt and contamination risk. To fulfill their demand on equipment improvement, we provide TL2010s to test performance. With higher speed and throughput, the muscle sample is not only fully disrupted in much shorter time, but also eliminates the risk of cross contamination. The disposable 2.0ml sample tube cost much lower than replacing homogenizer drill tip. What more important is, TL2010s cost almost the same as the homogenizer she was using. TL2010s shows very high cost performance in such cases.

The lab purchased TL2010s with satisfaction and continues cooperation with us since their first deal.

Ø  Tissue ball mill advantage:

TL2010s and TL2020 have the throughput at 24 samples and 56 samples, which exceeds equipment like homogenizer in experiment involves large sample pool, such as in harm detection, gene screening and medical study. The homogenizer and ball mills feature in different usage. With the reasonable price, TL series mills are one of the best sample preparation equipment choices for biology labs-we are confident about this.
